Once a year Convoy hosts a truck show and its pretty cool. It’s a time for truckers to come together for the love of trucking and customizing. For people who take pride in their equipment and what they do. Trucking on Long Island and New York is not easy. I’ve been in the industry for about 17 years now and I have seen companies come and go. The competition is fierce, it’s hard to collect money, you have people undercutting prices to take work away from someone else, and you have to work insane hours. But Convoy has created a venue that strips away all of that. I urge everyone to go and take your family. If you like going to car shows you will definitely enjoy this. Seeing these big behemoths of the road all detailed and chromed out is a cool sight to behold, even my daughter enjoyed it. Tips for photographing and event like this would be to get there about an hour more before it opens. At car shows the kind of space the cars out a little more so you can walk around and snap photos of the whole vehicle without getting another car in the shot. But here they park them truck stop style and theres only about three to four feet between the trucks. I was at another guys site who got there early and got some cool angles and walk around shots you just couldn’t get later on in the day.
